In 2005, Asma, an Indonesian felt lethargic and had pains in the sternum. She came to Penang and was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis C infection. She was put on interferon therapy and at the same time on Copegus, an oral medication. She received a total of 16 interferon injections. Each injection cost RM800. After the interferon therapy, Asma’s condition deteriorated. The doctor terminated the therapy after four months although the treatment was scheduled for six months. She was put only on Revicon – a nutritional supplement. In February 2008, she came to CA Care, Penang for help.

Breast Lumps: Two Doctors, Two Different Opinions

Pet is a 42-year-old female. In early 2011 she felt a lump in her right breast. She did not see a doctor until May 2011.And ultrasound on 24 May showed several lumps. Trucut bipspy indicated: Invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 3. She meat surgeon of a private hospital who told her that she needed 2 cycles of chemo or more before a mastectomy. Not satisfied she went to see a breast surgeon at a government hospital. There she was told the surgery could be done without chemotherapy.. She came to see us on 3 June 2011.

 

What It Takes To Be a Winner

Anne from Indonesia was diagnosed with lymphoma and underwent 8 cycles of chemotherapy. She suffered severe side effects. The treatment left her much worse off. 5 months after, the cancer recurred. There was a 2x2x3 cm mass in her left cheek and a swelling in her left neck. Her doctor asked her to go for chemo and radiotherapy. She refused.

She came to CA Care for herbs and changed her diet. After 2 months, Anne came back to Penang – her health had improved tremendously. We put Ann on the e-Therapy and her health and well being improved further.

Lymphoma Part1: Chemo Did Not Cure Her

Anne, 52-years old, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. An ultrasound in December 2009 showed a swollen spleen. Swelling of lymph nodes at the paraaorta, both parailiac and suprapubic. Blood tests showed elevated leucocyte, elevated lymphocyte and low platelet count. CA 125 was at 221.18. A CT scan showed swelling of the spleen, diffusely enlarged rectroperitoneal and mesenterial lymph nodes. Suspicious of malignant bowel lymphoma. A biopsy was done. Histopathology report confirmed a chronic lymphadenitis with focus follicular lymphoma. Here she relates her experiences of her chemotherapy.
