The Surrender and start on Sutent: Suri’s problem started in 2007. She underwent medical treatment and her condition deteriorated. In 2011, her oncologist surrendered and suggested taking Sutent.

Money Does Not Buy Cure: For all the treatments – radiotherapy, Iressa, Tarceva, chemotherapy and Sutent costing about S$300,000. But there is no cure. I was full of remorse. I saw a patient from Medan – who had been going for chemo after chemo for the past eight years. Eventually, the patient died. It struck me then, this is a prolongation of a meaningless survival.

CA CAre, the Last Hope: A distant relative in Penang called and suggested that we try CA Care. After discussing with my children, we abandoned further medical treatment and go for herbs.
